Bathroom Remodel

I couldn’t wait to reveal our bathroom to you all any longer! It is 95% completed… The finishing touch involves painting the bathtub, but many of you have expressed liking the tub in its current mint glory. In fact, one of my friends actually found the 1950’s American Standard catalog where our old bathroom set was first debuted! Behold its retro glory…

While I have daydreams of being the perfect, pin-up housewife,  this retro look just didn’t fit my current taste. I attempted to give the bathroom a more timeless look with neutral colors, but still adding a bit of my own style into the mix with playful tile. Of coure the vanity has a more modern look, but it doesn’t clash with the rest of the space thanks to the clean white exterior.

Other than the tub, this room was gut completely: new dry wall, new floor and wall tile, new vanity, new light and shower fixtures. It is absolutely gorgeous. I feel like I am walking into a Pinterest board every time I walk into this space.
